At suzipsews I make One Of A Kind (OOAK) fashion ensembles for many different modern dolls, sizes 8" up to 25". The two most popular dolls currently are Ellowyne Wilde from Wilde Imagination and the Kish 14" Chrysalis dolls, so on the gallery pages you will see mostly clothes for these sizes even though I sew for many others. My BJD collection is growing by leaps and bounds (how does that happen?) and I am creating more and more for these dolls. I am especially having fun with Kaye Wiggs' Miki, an 18" BJD with a personality!
I use only the best quality fabrics and embellishments combined with excellent workmanship and an eye to detail. You will be proud to own a garment from suzipsews.
I create from patterns both my own and those of others. I like to take patterns and adjust them and tweak them and make something new from them. Giving credit to pattern makers that I use: MHD Designs (you will notice many of Magalie's designs on these pages) , Adams-Harris Patterns, and Gracefaerie Designs. My favorite sources for knitting patterns are Cynthia Berrier from DollsWest Designs and Becky Colvin.
See for yourself why these ensembles have been referred to as "little works of art" as you find your way through the pages of dolly couture now at home in private collections. You can find out how to contact me by clicking on any purple name in the text or going to the Contact page. Let me begin work on something special for your dolls!
Thank you for your intererst in suzipsews. Enjoy your trip through my pages; I know you will like what you see!
